Great Drill Down

Watched Howie's vid on drilling down and have done some serious work and found a great longtailed keyword. Its got only 85,000 and 8,100 searches a month, plus more than 10 sponsored adds. Looks like, with Howie's help, Im finally going down the right path.

Also found two beautiful sites who would be considered my competitors, so now I know what I am up against and have gained some great ideas for what I need to do to blow them out of the water.

Oh dear, Im started to sound agressive now. Is that a good thing?

Albeit it an amazon associates store, I now have a webpage selling juicers which make eating raw foods easier.

Added Video

Have now added a Youtube video to my squidoo lens. Not my own work but a nice demo of how to prepare a vegan spring roll.
Repinged lens and adjusted keyword location and density.
Still waiting for it to appear in the top 1000 on google with my chosen keyword "vegan raw diet"

Article Posting Today

I took a day out yesterday to try and sort out moving to a new home, so nothing was done except thinking about what my next steps were going to be.

Today I have posted 5 articles so far, these are the submission sites I used:

I havent finished submitting yet, I am still working on it, hoping to achieve 20 by end of play today. Then comes the boring task of social bookmarking those articles.

Well here goes, today is dedicated to getting people to visit my lens.

Good news though, I had 8 visitors to my lens in the first 24 hours, and three of those commented directly to me via twitter - oh I just love twitter.

Ive Chosen My Niche

Okay, after lots of reading I chose the Vegan Diet niche, however I decided that Vegan Raw Diet was more lucrative. So keyword research done, I went ahead and created a SQ lens. Please go check it out at http://www.squidoo.com/veganrawdiet I have also pinged using two ping sites.

Tomorrow I will submit a few articles that will link back to my lens and the social bookmark those articles.

Will update on how I am progressing on the morrow.

My First Day

Well this is going to be interesting. Ive been attempting to market online for over a year now, and had minor successes, nothing consistent and am really looking forward to getting my teeth into something and following great advice from Howie Schwartz.

This is MY day one of a 10 day challenge posed by Howie and his team, to show that I CAN market online, so here goes.

Today I will be reading the materials provided in order to decide my niche and will be doing the necessary keyword research.

When this is done I will report back here with my decision and a plan of further steps.
